The 2023 Bisbee’s East Cape Offshore fishing tournament took place this past week in Buena Vista. The tournament celebrated its 27th year, making it clear why it’s one of the most prestigious fishing tournaments in the world. This year’s event was no exception.
With a total prize pool of $1.8 million, the tournament attracted some of the best anglers from around the globe. The species to be caught were dorado, marlin, and tuna, with the winners being determined based on the heaviest fish caught in each category. This year the event brought together over 800 anglers, for a total of 91 teams fighting to take home the big prize.
