Sunday April 3, Paws N’ Claws Golf Tournament & Dinner  The Los Cabos Humane Society presents their 11th Annual Paw N’ Claws Golf Tournament & Dinner fundraising event to help continue to provide the benefits of a decreasing pet population and a cleaner environment in Los Cabos. The event was first created a decade ago to assist the tireless work their staff does in the Los Cabos pet community. Because there is no governmental agency to address the problem of homeless domestic animals living on the streets of Los Cabos, The Los Cabos Humane Society operates as a non-profit organization which exists as the only form of animal protection and control in the Southern Baja California region of both tourist-popular San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The LCHS Center only has a few paid staff members. The rest of the work (pet adoption, neutering) is accomplished by hard-working volunteers from both communities. The open golf tournament will take place at Palmilla followed by dinner at Don Sanchez Restaurant in San Jose del Cabo. For tickets, please call Margarita Partridge (624) 156-6502 or email For more information please visit   Saturday, April 30,  Dia del Los Ninos  While not a national holiday in Mexico, El Dia de Los Ninos or Children’s Day, is always a day filled with kid’s activities, and special events.
