16-22 | FIESTAS TRADICIONALES SAN JOSÉ DEL CABO 

Experience the rich cultural heritage of San José del Cabo during the traditional festivities in March. Immerse yourself in vibrant parades, lively music, and traditional dances as the town comes alive with colorful celebrations.

10-23  | ABC ART BAJA

ABC Art Baja California is a cultural festival that takes place in La Paz, San Jose and Todos Santos. It presents special projects by artists, galleries and local establishments, configuring art circuits.

26-27  | SAN JOSE JAZZ WEEKEND FESTIVAL

San Jose Jazz Weekend  is a celebration of jazz music and art, bringing together some of the most talented musicians and enthusiasts for a weekend of exceptional performances and unforgettable experiences. Located in San José del Cabo on the street of Plaza del Pescador, in the hotel zone; the festival takes place over two days and features a lineup of renowned jazz artists, as well as up-and-coming talent.

3  | GASTRONOMIC FESTIVAL OF THE CHOCOLATA CLAM

The Chocolate Clam Festival serves as a platform for community engagement, bringing together locals, businesses, and visitors to celebrate the unique flavors and traditions of the region. 9 | TODOS SANTOS Y PESCADERO CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Todos Santos + Pescadero Culinary Experiences is a food + drink-filled weekend in Baja’s magical town taking place from June 9-11, 2023.

31-05 | LOS CABOS ABIERTO DE TENIS MIFEL

The Los Cabos Abierto de Tenis MIFEL is a professional tennis tournament held annually in Los Cabos, Mexico. It is part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour 250 series, which showcases some of the world’s top male tennis players. The tournament takes place on outdoor hard courts, providing an exciting and challenging playing surface for the competitors.

JULY-DECEMBER: SEA TURTLE NESTING SEASON

Witness the incredible phenomenon of sea turtle nesting as Baja California Sur’s beaches become nesting grounds for these majestic creatures. From July to December, join conservation efforts, participate in guided turtle releases, and marvel at the sight of tiny hatchlings making their way to the ocean.

1-5 | BISBEE’S EAST CAPE OFFSHORE  

The fishing tournament season kicks off with one of the largest tournaments of the region. The East Cape Offshore, where anglers from all places gather at Buena Vista Resort to compete for the largest Marlin, Dorado, and Tuna. 

AUGUST-FEBRUARY: BIRD NESTING SEASON IN THE SAN JOSÉ DEL CABO ESTUARY 

Explore the San José del Cabo Estuary during the bird nesting season. From August to February, witness a remarkable diversity of bird species, including herons, egrets, and migratory birds, as they create their nests and thrive in this pristine natural habitat.

SEPTEMBER 16: INDEPENDENCE DAY 

Join the patriotic fervor of Mexico’s Independence Day on September 16. Baja California Sur commemorates this significant national holiday with grand parades, fireworks, lively street parties, and a festive atmosphere that unites locals and visitors in a spirited celebration.

SEPTEMBER-NOVEMBER: SCUBA DIVING CONDITIONS ARE IDEAL IN THE SEA OF CORTÉS

14-18 | FIESTAS TRADICIONALES CABO SAN LUCAS

19–22 | BISBEE’S LOS CABOS OFFSHORE 

As the summer winds down and the fishes gather in Los Cabos’ waters, the excitement builds for the Los Cabos Offshore Charity Tournament, also known as “Little Bisbee’s.” Taking place just before the Black & Blue tournament. This event offers a distinct and relaxed ambiance that many describe as a throwback to traditional tournaments. Also as a way to remember the beginnings of these prestigious competitions.

24–28 | BISBEE’S BLACK & BLUE 

The Black & Blue Marlin Tournament stands proudly as the richest fishing tournament in the world. Anglers and spectators travel from dozens of countries to take part in this event. Be sure to witness the captivating spectacle as participants weigh their prized catches at the Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza.

13-18 | BAJA MIL OFF-ROAD RACE

The Baja 1000 is an iconic off-road racing event that takes place annually on the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico.

13-18 |LOS CABOS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

DECEMBER 31: NEW YEAR’S EVE FIREWORKS ON MÉDANO BEACH 

Ring in the New Year with a spectacular display of fireworks illuminating the night sky above Médano Beach. Join the joyful crowd, enjoy live music, and embrace the festive energy as you bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new.

DECEMBER-MID-APRIL: WHALE MIGRATIONS 

Experience the breathtaking spectacle of whale migrations in Baja California Sur, which occur from December to mid-April. Witness the incredible acrobatics and majestic beauty of humpback whales, gray whales, and other species as they navigate the Pacific waters during their annual journey.
